All season round activities
The Caravan is named after the enormous Swimming Pool on the Campsite.
The Pool is a Californian 1000m² Pool and has had some modifications since this photo was taken. There is a decking area at the far end of the Pool much nicer than laying on concrete. The Decking comes right to the Pool edge. There are Recliners for added comfort. A large paddly Pool exists for small children and next door to it is an indoor Pool and a Chute. Both Pools are mineral filtered I believe. Certainly I have not been able to detect the presence of Chlorine which can be such a put-off in Swimming Pools. The Pool opens at 8.00am and closes at 7.00pm It is floodlit in the Evening.
The main Pool is watched over by experienced lifeguards during high season. If you or your children can't swim they'll be pleased to teach you.
For hikers there are many paths to explore around the foothills surrounding Holiday Green.
The abundance of local flora and fauna (over 135 different species of birds) make a trek in the area a lovely day out.
The site provides younger holidaymakers with an exciting fully supervised Kid's Club, with arranged activities, during high season. There are also swings and a slide for toddlers to enjoy in a rubber floored area.
If you've got the energy there are two Tennis Courts. There are Racquets in the Caravan so bring a few Tennis Balls with you, or you can hire them from the site office. My Agent will explain how to book the Courts.
Once weekly a supervised beginners Course in Archery is available.
Seasonal activities
Mountain Biking - (April, May & June)
You can hire Mountain Bikes to explore the surrounding area or ride into Frejus Town.
The immediate Countryside on the road to Bagnols en Foret with its Cork Oaks and Pine trees is beautiful. A leisurely ride somewhere or an energetic "foray in the Foret" - its up to you!
Horse Riding - (April, May & June)
Perhaps you'd like to experience the views from a bit higher up? No not in an offroader, but on the back of a Horse?
Vineyard
Tours - September
Whilst in France most people like to enjoy one of France's best exports, the local wines.
There is a Vinyard just up the road from the Campsite which encourages tourist visitors to the "Chais".
Your opportunity to sample the grape at the "Au Chateau" bottling stage perhaps, as well as trying the vintages.
Free Shuttle service - July and August
There is a free return shuttle service between Holiday Green site to the Beach and Aquatica Water Centre at Frejus.
